Kang the Conqueror Past and Future
In both the Marvel Universe and the MCU, Kang claims to be from a very distant future. His real name is Nathaniel Richards, a scholar who eventually became very obsessed with time travel after discovering the time machine. This allows him to know what has happened in the past and what will happen in the future.

One of the variants called ‘He Who Remains’ has even proven this greatness in the Loki series. With this he can know what will happen to him and who will come to him. This ability, which Thanos lacks, allows any Kang variant to think of a solution even before superheroes like the Avengers act.
More Variants
Another reason why Kang is more dangerous than Thanos is the unlimited number of variants and more variety. He Who Remain once explained in the Loki series, that by killing him a multiverse will be born, so that the path for other Kangs to appear is bigger.

The danger again, the diversity of Kang’s character allows him to appear more dangerous than before. As we will see in the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Quantumia. Where he is able to threaten a superhero like Ant-Man into doing something for him. From that alone it was quite clear that he was more threatening than He Who Remains even Thanos.
Able to Access Multiverse
One thing Thanos can’t do, but Kang can do in the MCU is explore the multiverse. From the start he was a time traveler who often traveled around the multiverse to meet his own variants. Even though they initially cooperated with each other, it was not uncommon for the more sinister Kang to end up killing the variant himself.

With abilities that even most superheroes don’t have, Kang can do many things, including finding out a person’s weaknesses and finding new strengths that can strengthen them in adventures in other universes.
More Complete Armament
With his access to the multiverse and its more diverse variants, it is possible for a Kang to have more mature preparations to achieve his goals. In Marvel Comics itself, Kang has a number of supporting technologies for time travel.

One of them is the Centuries Sphere, which allows him to bring his troops and large planes to another universe or timeline. In the plane itself, it is not impossible that he has various kinds of weaponry from all ages. If Kang wanted, he could have collected the Infinity Stones before Thanos got them in a ‘timeline’.
A simpler goal
The last reason that is no less dangerous than the others is the fact that Kang has simpler goals than Thanos in the MCU. As we all know, Thanos is the Mad Titan who wants to destroy half the life in the universe.

To achieve his goal he must create the Infinity Gauntlet and find the six Infinity Stones, while traveling the galaxy with his army. On the other hand, Kang’s goal is in accordance with his nickname, which is to want to ‘Conquer’ aka conquer his opponent, not as complicated as Thanos who talks about morals and the balance of the world.
Those are the five most fundamental reasons why Kang is more dangerous than Thanos. Based on all this there is one proverb that is very suitable to describe the current state of the MCU, namely ‘Out of the mouth of the crocodile into the mouth of the tiger’.

That is, after leaving Thanos, the MCU must fall into the hands of the more dangerous Kang the Conqueror. What do you think? In the future, it has been confirmed that Kang will appear in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumia (February 17, 2023) and also in the film Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty (May 2, 2025). Let’s just wait for the horror, geeks.
